Producing The Paradise Circus at The Playground

I am currently producing The Paradise Circus at the Playground Theatre, it is the most extraordinary piece of literature. Check out James Purdy. He is a cult American Writer described by Gore Vidal as 'An authentic American genius'. I have just read The Narrow Rooms. His writing is poetic, indulgent, unusual and shocking, especially when you realise it was mostly written in the 1960s.
